Merry Christmas!

So my Ward Relief Society had a service auction.  I auctioned a kid's birthday cake (that I would make for the winner) and this little firetruck was what I made for them! It was my first Gluten Free Cake, all buttercream. Fun!

Other cake decorating adventures of late were these…Minecraft Cake. Thanks to those little paper fold-up box people I printed off the internet, the cake was a success!

Happy Birthday Keoni!!

Ahem, funny story, made short: yeah, that's a big fat turkey and we killed it, and ate it!
It was 40 pounds!!!

We always do the 'Baby Jesus Play' on Christmas Eve. Wisemen, shepherds, angel, Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. This year we even added a Roman Soldier (who announced that all should be taxed) and Samuel the Lamanite who prophesied of the Savior's Birth.

Merry Christmas to All!

Sadie 8 months

 Christmas Morning
Sadie got twin babies. One disadvantage to shopping early, sometimes one forgets what they already bought.

Alisa got new dress ups, already in her new Sleeping Beauty dress.

I took this pic today, so fun!!

Sadie 9 months!

And look who decided to climb all the way up the stairs! She looks so proud of herself!

Just in case you've never seen a picture of JL's favorite birthday treat: Oreo punch bowl cake

Swimming lessons, piano camp, tumbling, tae kwon doe, 2 camping trips, so fun!

 Sadie - 3 1/2 months

a budding photographer took this...guess who?

John Lee and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary!! I made a little cake that was similar to our wedding cake. And, this lovely cake plate was a wedding gift, and the first time I've ever used it.

And then we went to LEGOLAND!!

We stopped by the Redlands LDS Temple. It was beautiful. This is the part of California where all the orange orchards are. In fact, the land that the Temple sits on was once and orange orchard.

More LegoLand!

And these people came to visit us while we were in California!

Giant dinos we saw from the freeway.

And my children's new favorite play-time hero, LegoChima's Laval, keeper of the Chi.

Look at all those cute Rorings!!

First day of 3rd and 1st grade!

These tiny people hang out with me all day; it's pretty much a party!

That's right, we pretty much make super-cute babies.

The End is Here...

The end of the school year, that is!!
Hooray, we finally made it; Keoni finished 2nd grade and Lily finished Kindergarten!

This is Keoni's idea of keeping Sadie happy :)

Since when do Kindergartners have to do REPORTS?!? So Lily picked a Warthog...and she even drew that little one in the middle!

Another season of soccer has ended; Keoni on the 'watermelon smasher' team and Lily (and Coach John Lee) on the 'green dragons' team.

Keoni's 2nd grade class put on an opera!! With the help of a local professional opera company, the kids wrote the story line and the melodies of all the songs, and painted the set. Keoni got to be a 'police dog' in an adventure to rescue the earth people from the aliens from planet A.

Cub Scout Pinewood derby!! John Lee and Keoni worked long and hard on this cute little car...and it took 3rd Place!!

Little Sades...2 months old

 Happy Birthday Maya!!

Kindergarten Program, love the donkey ears (pretty sure it was the EXACT same program that keoni did 2 years ago)

Keoni's animal report and 3-D model of the amazing Platypus!

And on the last day of school, Keoni was presented a special gift from his teacher for being the top reader in his class!!
