Proudly Announcing....

Alisa Joy Roring

Born Friday, March 4, 2011, 3:10pm

7lbs 14oz 20.5 inches

I took this pic this morning...already 5 days old, can't believe it! This was yet another speedy delivery. I went to the hospital to be induced (already in labor, though). We waited around all morning for my doctor to finish some surgeries, she broke my water at 2:36pm, and went to lunch. A really tough half hour later, the RN delivered our baby! Yes, that's right, the Dr. still missed the delivery and she was IN the hospital!! She showed up in time to deliver the placenta, though...I wonder who's name will appear on the birth certificate?!?

A little Roring Baby Trivia:

One baby in each season- late December, mid September, late May, early March
One baby in each time of day- 12:56am, 9:49am, 3:10pm, 7:46pm
All sizes- 6lbs 2oz, 7lbs 14 oz, 8lbs 2oz, 8lbs 9oz (Maya was the chunk)

We're home and doing pretty good. If you're close, come see us!

Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year! We had a lovely holiday and hope you did too!

Christmas Eve Jammies--I loved the polka dots for the girls!

Keoni had one of these...
"Mom, Leonardo is the BLUE ninja turtle, and he has SWORDS, 2 of them, ok?"

We need a vacation!!!

So we jumped in the car (actually our new VAN!!) and drove to Disneyland...all had a fabulous time and lots of the Roring clan joined us!

"We are a happy Family"

Some of our cousins

We spent a day at the ocean. Maya loved filling up her bucket, JL and Keoni built an awesome fort, and Lily found the beach "wanting". Cousin Sam is a california native, so he is cold and dressed in a sweatshirt and swim trunks while my family is as naked as possible.

See tiny Donald Duck all dressed up for Halloween

Maya getting ready for a 3D ride

The happiest place on earth...

Lily turned 4 and asked for a 'Bullseye' cake...she's not really into princesses and such.

Maya started walking!! (Hence the blurry pic)

And a little cake I wanted to do for a while, I finally got the chance at a Labor Day BBQ...mmm, it was just as tasty as it looks!

Our Summer Fun...no really, the whole summer

Keoni started Kindergarten!!! He loves it and loves his spiderman backpack.

We only planted two things in our garden this year...carrots and pumpkins. We are amateur gardeners, so we've now discovered you have to 'thin' carrots so they grow thicker. We harvested a few 'pencil' sized carrots this week...very tasty!

Maya LOVES shoes!! These are her new shoes she always wants to have on her feet.

Sweet Maya is 15 months old, has only 4 teeth (still), and only walks if holding onto something...maybe soon, babe! but check out her hair!

Keoni plays soccer! He's so cute. Well, this is where we'll spend every saturday for the next 15 years...watching one of our kids play soccer.

Keoni and Lily took swimming lessons again this summer. My little fish just loved it! This is Keoni UNDER water!

Lily is right in the middle, looking at you!

Ah, yes. I just wanted to capture the kind of things that happen at my house...here we have Cinderella, 4 dino's and a snake... I'm not sure if she's being eaten alive by them, or they're her pets (depends on the day I suppose)
